It was such a massive pleasure to photography Emily and Max’s wedding recently. They got married at Washborne Court in Lower Slaughter, Gloucestershire which is where I started my day with them. Max was pretty relaxed when I arrived and Emily arrived shortly after excited and dressed in a gorgeous bright red dress that her mother had made for her, red for her late father with trimmings of gold lace from her great grandmothers wedding dress. She looked so awesome in fact that she made the registrars cry, twice I think :) this is rare! They loved Emily so much that they were even straightening out her dress for her after the ceremony before they walked back up the aisle. We stuck around in Lower Slaughter for a little while to get a few images there by the river and trees (like me, they love a good tree :) ) Then, the entire bridal party walked to Emily’s mothers home 15 minutes away in Bourton on the Water, this was so cool, I loved it! My favourite part was Emily’s uncle playing guitar the whole way, they stopped to wait for him at one point (as he has to lug an amp as well as play the guitar!) and had technically their first dance there and then. We arrived to find an awesome long yurt in Emily’s mothers garden, which is a truely stunning garden (She is Kew garden trained!) and all the flowers and decorations were just so cool, so pretty and relaxed, I loved loved loved it! Enjoy :)
