Before all this sunshine kicked off Rebecca and Stuart got married on what was probably the windiest wedding in the history of weddings (well, not really, but it felt like it at times :) ) at Pucklechurch Church and then had their reception at Old Down Manor.
I started the day with Rebecca and her bridesmaids getting ready with the help of Jessica Mills and Becks Simpson at Rebecca’s Mum’s house which is literally across the road from the church. Pucklechurch is only a small village though and Stuart and his friends were only in the pub around the corner which meant I could run around to them to get a few of them having lunch and making their way to church and then back across the road in time for Rebecca getting into her dress. They then made their very short car journey in a lovely old Bentley :) After the ceremony they had pimms and macaroons ready for the guests to snack on while we did a few group photos before the sky opened up. The rain didn’t last long though and when we arrived at Old Down Manor it was dry, but very very windy. We went straight out for some photos in case it rained again, the wind was trying it’s very best to make life as difficult as possible so before long we headed inside to safety. Old Down Manor has great indoor space though so we were able to take a few more later in the evening.
