Today I bring to you the wedding of Felicity and Kevin who got married just before New Year at Old Down Manor. When I arrived Maria from Sorori Flower Designs was there with LA Wedding and Event Styling who were hard at work making the place look amazing (it could not have looked better!), and then shortly after Felicity arrived with family to get ready in the amazing bridal suite they have at Old Down Manor. It was such a lovely few hours with this lot as there was just so much love and laughter. Felicity did her own make up and her Mum did her hair so it was just friends and family around. An extra special thing happened during the morning also, unfortunately Felicity’s brother could not make it to their wedding, but only because his wife had gone into labour! So while Felicity was having her hair done they received news that there was a new baby boy in the family, shortly followed with her Dad arriving proudly with a photo of the new baby on his phone. I particularly enjoyed this part of the day as there was so much closeness to witness between all the family and Felicity’s Dad reaction to seeing her in her dress for the first time will be always be up there with my favourites!
They got married in one of the front rooms of Old Down Manor, there was laughter from pretty much start to finish which continued through the whole day as you will see. I can’t not smile when looking at these photos. The rain stayed off for long enough for us to get some photos of the two of them away from everyone in the grounds before going inside for the meal. Soon followed some hilarious speeches from all and then it wasn’t long before they were having their first dance to their super happy band (whose name I’ll add here later as they were so lovely!) Old Down Manor staff as usual were fantastic and looked after me as well as everyone else well, I had the best day! Here are some of my favourites
