Boy did it rain on the wedding day of Stacey and Lewis. We were all frantically checking the weather reports hoping for change for days but it wasn’t to be, but it didn’t damp the spirits of these two one bit! I started my day at Colliter’s Brook Farm where Stacey was getting ready with her girls with the help of a close friend. It was all much more calm that I was expecting considering Stacey had confessed to me that she was a worrier :) Once ready we made our way to Westbury on Trym church where Lewis was waiting. Stacey was all smiles as she arrived, I think if anything the rain made it more fun :) Thankfully though there was a little gap in the rain for when they came out, it must have been a sign :) it started again though so we all raced back to Colliter’s Brook Farm for their reception.
Rich at Colliter’s Brook Farm has just finished their new medieval dining room at the Farm which was good timing as everyone dashed straight in there for pre dinner drinks, it is a pretty cool room! Then over in the marquee it was time for dinner, everyone had their own pie from Pieminister (it was gooooood!) and then hurrah! There was a hint of blue in the sky and it brightened up so we dashed outside for some couple photos around the Farm. This was all I had hoped for with the weather as I just wanted Stacey and Lewis to have some lovely photos at the Farm and it stayed dry just long enough for this and a few others shots, so I was very happy :) It was a very relaxed evening that followed before their fun first dance. On with the photos…. (big shout out to Rich and everyone at Colliter’s Brook Farm as they are all lovely, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, thanks guys!)
