Earlier this year I visited Gower in Wales for the first time. I stayed just for the weekend and I found it absolutely beautiful and thought to myself how much I’d love to photograph an engagement shoot there, not thinking I would actually get to any time soon as none of my couples are getting married that way. So when Jo and Jamie suggested it for their shoot as it’s a place they used to visit a lot together and love I was quite excited. On the day itself when I left Bristol the sun was shining and I thought we were going to get the perfect day but as I approached it got greyer and greyer, typical. We headed out onto the beach though, neither Jo nor Jamie seemed bothered by the rain, more bothered by the fact I was about to photograph them perhaps :) but they go into it pretty quickly. As the shoot went on we were rewarded with our perseverance and the sun came out and it turned into the more gorgeous early evening.
