On a cold but perfect sunny winters day recently I photographed the wedding of Anna and Barrie at Priston Mill near Bath. After having so much fun on their recent engagement shoot in Bath I had been really looking forward to their wedding and it was such a fantastic day! I started the day at a little place called Withy Mills Farm nearby where Anna was getting ready with her Mum and closest friends in awesome matching PJ’s while cows went about their business just a few metres away. A surprise Sunbeam came to pick them all up to take them to Priston Mill. I went ahead of them though so catch the guys but it wasn’t long before it was time for Anna’s arrival.
The ceremony was perfect, the registrars were very laid back which makes my life easier :) They had a couple of readings but then also a couple of songs at the end sung by friends, one of which was a complete surprise. Soon after the ceremony we dashed out to take some photos with the Sunbeam before it went and then did a few more couple shots around Priston Mill before they were greeted back to a massive showering of confetti. The light was absolutely stunning but faded fast and before long they were inside eating their (very tasty!!) meal and having their speeches, of which there were four.
It was then the evening and guests made use of the ‘ski lodge’ Anna and Barrie had made in the mezzanine area and drank among the fairy lights in the adjoining room. Anna, Barrie and I then nipped out in the cold to take a few more couple shots in the dark, we were all enjoying this and could have carried on for many many more but it’s unfair to keep them from their guests for too long :) So after a pyramid of people group shot it was time for their first dance. It was such a wonderful day surrounded by such warm people, I hope you enjoy my favourites from their day:
