When I met Emma and Gareth at Berkeley Castle the first time for their engagement shoot it was raining so hard, there could not have been a bigger contrast between this and the strong, hard sunshine they got on their actual wedding day, wow it was hot! Both Emma and Gareth got ready the morning of their wedding at Tortworth Court. I started with Emma and her infectiously enthusiastic bridesmaids and nipped across to get a few of Gareth and his best man with what Gareth described as his wedding dress (a white Lamborghini – awesome).
This was the first time I had shot at Berkeley Castle and I was very excited because it’s fun to shoot at a new venue and see it freshly. Everyone that works there is so lovely and helpful, the nicest wedding venue (and catering) people I have come across. The sun absolutely bathed every inch of the castle which made deciding where to photograph a little tricky at times but I’m never going to complain about the sun!! :) The stunning flowers are by Sorori Design.
Emma and Gareth are such warm, thoughtful and generous people, I really enjoyed spending the day with them and their family and friends who are very much like them. Here are some of my favourites from their day:
For the record, I didn’t ask them to do this, but I did find it funny :)
