Today I bring to you the wedding of the lovely Emily and Nick. It’s one that makes me smile so much as I process it as Emily is just smiling from ear to ear throughout the whole day, it really was such a pleasure to be around both Emily and Nick plus their lovely family and friends on their wedding day. They got married at Emily’s family church in the village of Cradley in Worcestershire and held their reception at Emily’s parents home just down the lane. And this is where I started my day with Emily and her family getting ready. I spent the the first part here then I nipped down the lane to where Nick was getting ready with the help of his best man right next door to the church, it was a beautiful and interesting place :) I then ran back up the lane ready for Emily to get into her stunning dress.
It was then time for the church, the clouds threatened but no rain came, and before long they were inside getting married. The ceremony was filled with lots of laughter as I have come to expect from these guys :) After the ceremony they greeted everyone and then had a confetti exit out of the church and then walked back to the house ready to greet everyone to the reception to the sound of a steel band while the sun shone down. This created a lovely lively energy to their reception. We then snuck off into the garden to take some photos of just the two of them, and it is such a beautiful garden with lots of lovely trees to make me happy :) Soon it was time to go inside the stunning marquee ready for the speeches and the meal. The marquee inside looked beautiful as it got dark outside and it felt very intimate. Outside lights came on to light up the trees in the garden and I knew I had to get them out there for a photo with those. It was just starting to rain a little but it was worth it on my opinion :) It was then time to get the evening party started with their first dance in the twinkling lights of the marquee. Here are some of my favourites from their day:
