On a recent rather grey day I went to the stunning Syon Park in London to photograph the wedding of Pippa and Nathan. Both Pippa and Nathan were getting ready next door at the Hilton hotel and I started my day with accidentally being sent to the wrong room by reception, I knocked and found a worried looking Nathan who potentially thought I was there to photograph him shower… I then found Pippa, which is where I was supposed to be :) and photographed her and her many bridesmaids get ready. Once ready we all made the walk across to Syon House where the ceremony was to take place, but through the amazing conservatory that we would be back at later that day.
It’s fair to say it was an emotional ceremony :) with tears all round. It went quite fast though and before long we were in the rest of Syon House where we took a few quick photos before their guests greeted them as the new Mr and Mrs. We then left Syon House and walked over the conservatory. It really was gorgeous with lots of pink blossom inside. Pink being a favourite as this was also chosen for their uplighting and the cake colour, the cake that Pippa had made herself. We went straight into the speeches, with a few more tears, but many more laughs before the meal. Towards the end of the meal I noticed the light was just at the right point to make the most of the lighting inside the conservatory so we sneaked out to get a couple of shots which I’m so pleased we did! Then it was into the evening for lots of dancing in a fantastic setting. Here are some of my favourites from the day:
