Wow would I like to photograph this wedding again! Ellen and Robyn got married at the Mud Dock in central Bristol. I’ve lived in Bristol for over 10 years now and it’s sometimes easy to forget what a beautiful place it is, particularly around the harbourside. So what a gift to get to photograph Ellen and Robyn’s wonderful wedding, which really made the most of all the best bits!! Another gift was Ellen and Robyn themselves as well as their family and friends. I couldn’t have enjoyed spending the day with them all anymore than I did, it was awesome!!

They got ready in two separate apartments at the SACO Apartments on Broad Quay with the help of the awesome Ali from Bombshell Makeup UK before doing a first look on the edge of Queen’s Square (a ‘first look’ is where the couple see each other for the first time on the day alone before seeing everyone else, highly recommend!). We then did their family and wedding party photos outside the spectacular red doors of the M-Shed before walking over to the Mud Dock for their ceremony.

After the ceremony, and while guests had some drinks, we sneaked off for just a few photos around the harbourside, before everyone came down for confetti and then the treat of a boat ride on the Tower Belle. Cruising past the Bristol sights in the sunshine was a wedding lifetime highlight for me! Once back at the Mud Dock there were many truly brilliant speeches in amazing light, you’ll see, I was really pinching myself at that moment! The September sunshine continued to deliver and gave us an amazing golden hour. So we went back out to the waterside and by the cranes for some couple shots, I really was living my best life! The evening was finished off with tonnes of dancing in the beautiful industrial style building! Enjoy these Mud Dock wedding photographs!
